Following advice from the State Government on Monday 18th October, DKHAC is thrilled to advise that we will be open for business as usual from 6am tomorrow, Tuesday 19th October.
Most services will operate as normal (steam room and sauna remain closed), however we ask that all clients abide by the continuing restrictions in place until 6pm Friday 22nd October of wearing a mask indoors and outdoors. We ask that clients wear/bring their own masks, and continue to do so until the advice changes. Please note that DKHAC is observing all State Government guidelines and access to the Centre will only be permitted if a mask is worn.
Masks will be required to be worn in the Centre by people aged 12 and over, except for when doing intense physical exercise, Learn to Swim, water sports, swimming or with a medical exemption (in writing). The Centre will enforce a strict no mask, no entry policy and our staff will be on hand to help you with the mask wearing requirements.

NEW ADDITONAL SAFETY MEASURES - WEARING A MASK IN THE GYM
In accordance with Government requirements, members and visitors must wear a face mask unless engaging in strenuous activity.

Exercise becomes strenuous - based on using the Rating of Perceived Exertion Chart (RPE) scale. The chart begins at 1 with very light activity, and peaks at 10 with max effort activity. (Any member with an RPE of 7 or higher should not wear a mask and any less than RPE of 6 a mask will be required)
We ask that members to please be kind to our instructors who will be enforcing these guidelines and until restrictions are reviewed on Friday, or as directed by the public health department.
