Equal Access
Our Equal Access program is for children and teens ages 4-16 with disabilities or neurological differences. We offer specialised lessons in either one-on-one or small group settings, focusing on water safety and confidence.
Our experienced teachers tailor each class to the needs of the individual, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.
Eligibility
To ensure that we can accommodate individual needs effectively, we ask that anyone requiring one-on-one lessons must provide a copy of the students NDIS plan, or provide a letter from an allied health professional.
Days/Times
One-on-one classes operate between 2:30pm and 3:30pm Monday to Friday and 12:55pm to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Our group classes operate between 3:45pm to 6:35pm, Monday to Friday. Our program is on-going, and all bookings are continuous except for school holidays. You are not charged during school holiday periods.
Payments
Are deducted from your nominated account two weeks in advance. If needed, our Customer Service Team can at any time provide statements of direct debit payments for NDIS reimbursement purposes.
To discuss availability or to enrol, please email dkhac@hobartcity.com.au and provide some information about your child and list any swimming history or abilities.
